Fountain Creek District Application

The SDS project participants submitted an application to the Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District on Dec. 11, 2009, for approval of SDS-related construction activities in the Fountain Creek 100-year flood plain. On Jan. 22, 2010, the District Board voted unanimously in support of the SDS project components that fall within the Fountain Creek Corridor and recommended approval to the El Paso County Planning Commission for project facilities that are outside the Corridor but within the watershed in El Paso County.
