The Southern Delivery System (SDS), now under construction, is our continued water lifeline - ensuring we have clean, affordable and dependable water for generations to come.

SDS is essential to our community.

Ensures reliability today. When our existing, aging pipelines need maintenance or repair, SDS will ensure continued delivery of water for our community.

Provides water for our children and our grandchildren. SDS will supply Colorado Springs with water upon completion in 2016 through 2046 and beyond.

Assures our quality of life. When we turn on the faucet, we need water. SDS assures a dependable water supply to maintain our quality of life.

Necessary for economic viability. Water is the lifeblood of our economic health and critical to retaining and attracting jobs and business to our region.

Guards against drought. Our community suffered severe drought in recent memory, and we need another water system to ensure we have adequate water for inevitable dry periods and when our other water sources are in short supply.
